Welcome to CLEANEXPO! We are very excited to bring this exhibition to you all. The Expo is specific to the carpet and hard surface cleaning industries and to the flood and fire restoration industry. Formerly named CarpetClean EXPO, the name has been altered to better reflect the changes in the industry since our last Expo.
So what is so good about our Expo that makes it a must attend event for all of those involved in the professions mentioned above? Generally, Expo's are invaluable for the time they afford to meet up with colleagues, to meet suppliers and to test drive all types of different equipment - all in one location.

In addition to all of those great reasons to attend an industry Expo, here are several specific to CLEANEXPO.

MAIN PRIZES- We are giving away prizes to the value of around $45,000!! DOOR PRIZES - In addition to the major prizes/giveaways there are around 20 door prizes to be given away - some valued at up to $350! SEMINARS- FREE entry to our huge line up of seminars. Remember, all those wishing to attend any of the seminars MUST pre-register as space is limited. Sherman Guffy, Prochem education manager, Maurizio Bertoli, one of the world's foremost experts on natural stone and Gary Carroll, a local business owner and educator. LIVE DEMOS - There wil be several live demonstrations from many companies at CLEANEXPO. A'nge Kokkaliaris from Aquamix will be demonstrating floor sealing and cleaning techniques on a purpose built tile and stone floor everal times a day. Murray McDonald from Duplex will be demonstrating cleaning Flotex carpets and also tiles as well as chewing gum removal using steam. BBQ and COCKTAIL PARTY - Free barbeque each day for all registered attendees. and FREE entry to the industry cocktail party.

INDUSTRY AWARDS - There are five annual awards to be presented at CLEANEXPO on Saturday, April 12 at 4.00pm, right before the drawing of the first prize/giveaway to be presented at CLEANEXPO - the Razorback Extractor. These are: 'Person of the Year', 'Technician of the Year', 'Restorer of the year', 'Supplier of the Year' and 'Product of the Year.'

STEVE TOBUREN - We have been lucky enough to secure the services of Steve Toburen, Director of

Training for Jon-Don in the USA. Steve is a world renowned industry educator and he will be conducting a 2 day seminar prior to CLEANEXPO. Attendance is limited so make sure you book early, which you can do either through the latest issue of Cleaning & Restoration magazine or by clicking here.

AARON GROSECLOSE - Aaron is a IICRC certified instructor and he will be conducting a 2 day official

IICRC course on rug cleaning and identification on the Gold Coast on the two days after CLEANEXPO - Monday April 13 through Tuesday April 14, 2008. Details on the course and booking are available here.
